Pulling the user in

After opening the timeline, the user is greeted with a collagen animation, showing the most important pioneers and milestones.

Get to know the character of a decade

The timeline is ordered by decades. Each decade is introduced by a short text enlightening the soul and character of the according decade.

Informing about innovations and entertaining with contextual trivia

Within a decade the milestones are sorted chronologically. Every milestone, such as the first ever flight test described here, is enriched with further information and media of suitable innovations, products and pioneers. Additional anecdotes and cultural events entertain the user and convey the spirit of the time.
For each milestone, meta topics are presented in the form of tags. If the user clicks on one of these tags, a suitable topic page is aggregated.

Navigating not only through time, but topics as well

After the user has clicked on a meta topic / tag, a topic page is aggregated, showing all according media.

Telling stories to outstanding milestones and pioneers

Outstanding milestones and pioneers are presented in a dedicated story. In this way, the user can learn even more background information about the history, tradition and people who have shaped the airbus group.

Spreading the word in social media

In order to reach as large an audience as possible, selected milestones were linked to various social media platforms. In addition, all articles are written search engine optimized.
