Project goal and focus

The aim of the relaunch was focused on an increase in sales. For this we focused on the fields "optimization of the online marketing mechanisms", "optimization of the conversion rate“, as well as a cross-device, state of the art user experience.

Different entry points for different navigation types

A faceted navigation guides users quickly to the desired educational offer. The user can enter education topics or venues. Services and informations about the IHK Academy are also accessable.

Presenting new and special offers

Particularly popular or editorially selected educational programs are offered prominently in various locations.

The navigation flyout shows a teaser to new educational offers.

A tab module on the start and overview pages show editorial picks.

On topic overview pages the most popular offers are placed.

Finding the preferred offer in maximum three steps

A course finder can be used to filter suitable educational offers from a selection of over 1200 seminars and courses.

Three entry points are offered in the course finder: degree, main topic and location. The number of available courses is displayed.

For example, after a main topic has been chosen, a subtopic can be selected. The displayed number of courses will be updated.

After the refinement of the desired topic, teasers with suitable course offers, including course duration, number of lessons, location and available seats will be listed. Availability indicators give a direct hint of whether sufficient seats are available or if the user should be booked quickly. If an offer is booked out, the user can swipe the teasers through various locations.

Comparing favorites easily

Preferred educational offers can be compared with each other, using a comparison tool.
